How to fit bathroom wall panels

A simple wall panel fitting guide to tools, prep and installation

What You’ll Need

• CladTech bathroom wall panels
• High grab adhesive (solvent-free)
• Anti-mould silicone sealant
• Tape measure & pencil
• Spirit level
• Fine-tooth saw or sharp knife
• Applicator gun

Step-by-Step Installation

1. Prepare Your Walls

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and flat. Panels can be fitted over plaster, tiles, or plasterboard—as long as the surface is secure.

2. Measure & Cut

Measure your space carefully and cut panels to size. Accuracy here ensures a seamless finish.

3. Dry Fit First

Position panels before applying adhesive to check alignment and sizing.

4. Apply Adhesive

Apply adhesive in vertical lines or a zig-zag pattern. Press firmly onto the wall and check level.

5. Join Panels

Use the tongue-and-groove system to slot panels together tightly for a smooth, professional look.

6. Seal for Waterproofing

Seal all edges, corners, and around fixtures using anti-mould silicone to prevent water ingress.
